FAQ

  • There is actually a huge difference between grass-fed and grain-fed beef, (also known as conventional beef).

What a cow eats during its life has a drastic impact on its nutritional value as a meat source.

Grass-fed beef contains less fat and less calories than grain-fed beef. It's also significantly higher in CLAs (conjugated linoleic acid) which has numerous health benefits (one being associated with weight loss).

Grass-fed beef is significantly lower in monounsaturated fat than grain-fed cows but has almost 5x more omega 3's (brain health!)

Simply put, grass-finished beef comes from cattle that eat nothing but grass and forage for their entire lives. Our cattle are free to roam the pastures, breathing fresh air, and we believe this environment creates happier, healthy cows. And this in turn, produces better tasting and more nutritious meat.

  • Beef is a nutrition powerhouse in many ways.

Aside from being a great source of protein, beef provides essential nutrients in a smaller package than other proteins. You would have to eat 8 oz of cooked chicken to get the same amount of iron as in 3 oz of beef, and 20 oz of chicken to get the same amount of zinc as in 1 serving of beef.

  • The answer is NO!

That means it's 100% free of any antibiotics, hormones, pesticides, and other additives/fillers. Our cattle were born here and raised under the big, blue, Montana sky free to roam our grassy pastures.

  • Absolutely!

A 3-oz serving of beef - about the size of an iPhone or deck of cards - provides more than 10 essential nutrients, like protein, iron and zinc.
